Concept
This project involved designing a series of three minimalist posters inspired by Stranger Things. The concept focused on reducing the show's complex narrative and visual identity into simple, symbolic forms. Rather than relying on photography or detailed illustration, each poster centers on a single, recognizable motif from the series, such as Eleven's silhouette, the Demogorgon, or the Christmas lights, using flat color, shape, and contrast to convey mood and meaning with restraint.
Description
The final outcome is a cohesive poster series unified by a consistent minimalist visual language. Each design employs simplified graphics, limited color palettes, and careful compositional balance to communicate atmosphere and identity using minimal visual elements. The posters were designed to function both individually and as a set, highlighting different aspects of the series while maintaining stylistic continuity. The project also served as a technical exploration of Adobe Illustrator, with emphasis on layering, visual balance, and reduction as a storytelling tool.
